  • The global mechanical medical ventilators market is valued has an approximate value of US$1.05 billion.

  • There is currently a shortage of ventilators, and the COVID-19 outbreak has caused a higher demand for ventilators.

  • LYC Healthcare Bhd (LYC) is partners with Biofresh Hygiene Services Sdn Bhd to market cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation services in Malaysia.

  • LYC reported that their hygiene and sanitation services includes: manual and automatic hand sanitiser dispensers, hand soap dispensers, toilet seat sanitisers, lady bins, and disinfection services.

  • LYC is also granted the right to use all marketing materials developed by Biofresh.

  • LYC recently announced its local partnership with IT company, Forwen Sdn Bhd, to market its COVID-19 tracing app.

  • LYC's shares closed half a sen or 1.2% lower at 41 sen today. The company is valued at RM145.7 million.
